Now it hits…

Here I am typing, deleting, and re-typing…sigh

I wish I could put it all in words but the logical and rational ones would break it down as flimsy. It’s more like a cycle that I can’t seem to break out of. Maybe it’s lack of proper planning but does that shoe really fit all the time?…

This entire thing is just…

Like the man whose girlfriend got pregnant “unplanned” nine months ago and now in labour pains.
“I’m going to be a father” keeps looping in his mind.

Like the tenant whose landlord gave six months quit notice and now, in the last week yet no alternative in sight.
“Who else would I turn to?” keeps him awake every night.

Like the lady who is performing final rites for her parents who died in a car crash.
“I should have gotten that bag for my mom; I should…” Diverse thoughts kept swimming around in her head.

Like the recently laid-off guy whose apartment partially got burnt yet no savings whatsoever.
“Why me?” keeps playing in his head like Dbanj’s song.

Like the once stuck-up queen who is now at the mercy of her abusive ex because she got thrown out for giving attitude to the friend who housed her for free.
“Not back here again!” she cries silently.

Like the guy who just realized his so-called “love of his life” had two other guys and a sugar daddy at a birthday party he sponsored with all his savings.
“I’m sorry, Baby” is all she kept saying as tears rolled down his face.

Now it hits” is for different points in our lives when life hits, and for a while, it seems so hard, so overwhelming…yet somehow we find a way to forge ahead. Few don’t (sigh). But we keep the hope alive, right? We trust this will yet become the past we look back on.
