Finally had to let go
A mix of fine wine and chocolate
Came dazzling and had lots swooning in his wake
A mix of dreams, desires, and fantasy
Always had their bodies giggling and palpitating
But he left tears and broken hearts behind
Oblivious to his charm and the growing line
He kept waltzing in and out of lives
Some had him for a moment in time
They got deluded thinking it would remain so
Dreams shattered, eyes filled with tears
Yet nothing could be changed
The rolling stone couldn’t be stopped
It kept on rolling in search of a place that fits
Now, it’s her turn and the thread has now snapped
Time to keep rolling, to keep searching.
Fingers crossed, and hopes held high for him
Prayers for hearts left and for the ones yet to come
